Mission Trip To Mityana, Namutamba Village!

We are grateful to have accomplished our Mission in Namutamba the village in which we established our very first Project. It was a great blessing to us to have partnership with Namutamba Rehabilitation Centre whom we met while on the initial Mission and have provided us with accomodation among others mostly allowing us spend time and serve God with the Children who are being rehabilitated at their center to enhance ability of self dependence in the future. Below are pictures to illustrate this our incredible journey to
Namutamba village;
HNM youths sorting out things for donation, we are grateful for all of you who donated clothes, and whatsoever to enhance our ability to share blessings with the vulnerable people.

We are thankful to the Lord for freely availing us with a truck with Ronald graham a member and yet our driver on this trip who facilitated our travels from Mityana to Namutamba Village!

Safely we were able to reach our destination!!!

Within the truck, it was a tight fit although pleasing for it was a great opportunity getting to serve the Lord.
I am grateful for a wonderful team of 10 young men and women who denied themselves the festive season being in the village from new years-eve and the very 1st of the year despite the fact that they had to be home with family and perhaps with lots of fun things to do in Kampala.

Right Richard, talking to kids at the rehabilitation center on our arrival from Mityana.
These kids were such amazing especially looking at how excited they would get when it comes to time of serving God using strongly the functional parts of their body to give God the praise.
We thank the Administration of Namutamba rehabilitation center for allowing us associate with these wonderful children throughout the night, and to share meals with them among others, from them we hope to have long time friends that we can further fellowship with even when discharged to go back home.

After arrival at the center, we started out with field work, we went door to door sharing God with people and his love including offering them gifts as God provided to us wishing them a happy new year as you will see herein below.

In the field, it was incredible as we were warmly welcomed into each and every house we were able to reach and we had wonderful time visiting with each family.

It was a wonderful experience not only to the people we visited but also to the new youths that have recently joined this group who had never been on such an out reach before and have stated that it was indeed a great challenge and lesson to them.

It was a blessing to share Gods word with the people but more so it was when we had people call us back when they needed clarification on a few things as regarding the wonderful conversation we had while at their house.

Left, is an old man who called back a few of us seeking for clarification. It was a wonderful experience indeed!!

Although we took a fish truck to Namutamba, movement while there and back to Mityana was made easier as we were provided with an ambulance to bring us back and to move to the volleyball field where we were able to share God with the Youths after we had a volley ball match with them.

I may not be able to mention how badly we were beaten in volleyball, we were a team lacking practice and or even idea how to play volley ball referring to some of us if i may give an excuse, but we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength.

It brought great Joy to Village Natives who won the match and therefore waited patiently to be in our devotion, not only did we make a great team playing volleyball but also it was an incredible one when it came to singing prior to the devotion.

We are indebted by Ken Lule a member, who prepared long time a word appropriate to be shared with the youths here with wonderful illustrations applicable to their daily life.

We were impressed by the children at the center, and just their ability to dance and play drums during our morning devotion with the children at the center.
Happy people dont necessarily have all they Need, they simply make the most of what they have.

Getting to be listeners was as well an amazing thing to do and getting to here all compliments from people as a few of them thought it was the president sending them things through us saying he had previously did in the past few years referring to our very first Mission Trip in this Village!

Not only did we share with Natives but also with our friends at the rehabilitation center. They were each able to receive an outfit.

Saying good bye to our friends at the center, was not fun, but we are grateful to the lord to have put such wonderful people along our path of life that have motivated us and opened many of ours hearts further to serving him with all we have.
We are thankful for a wonderful team of Medical students from the International Health Sciences university who were willing to come along and do whatever regardless of the conditions many of which were not that favorable.
We acknowledge and always will the great role played by Eric and Krisann Pease availing us accomodation througout the night we spent in Mityana as well as feeding us with wonderful meals making the Team feel more at home.
We are thankful for the team, Mwesigwa George, ken lule, Feven Beyinn, Mugerwa Richard, Mwanje Nelson, Kate kalmar, Ronald Graham, Jeninah Tumuheirwe,Charles Andy Kasibante for the work accomplished that was wonderful and pray the all might bless and rewards them abundaltly.
We acknowledge the support from all our supporters too numerous to mention in this brief note but to whom we owe gratitude for the positive regards.
May God bless and keep you all,

Sincerely,
              Ssemakula Timothy
